ENEOS Livery Returns to Steve Arpin’s Loenbro Motorsports Rallycross Ford Fiesta For ARX Season Opener
CHINA GROVE, NC (June 5, 2019) — Steve Arpin and ENEOS Motor Oil has officially renewed their partnership for the fifth year. The brand’s popular orange and red colors will return to Arpin’s Loenbro Motorsports Ford Fiesta for this weekend’s ARX Rallycross race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on June 8-9, 2019. The opening round of the second Americas Rallycross season will see Arpin and his top Supercar competitors face off on a brand new course built within the Keyhole section of the Mid-Ohio facility.
“Our new ENEOS livery is going to make us one of the coolest cars in ARX this year!” Arpin said. “Our friends at American Syndicate did an incredible job creating a bold new identity, which will definitely turn heads on the track. I can’t wait to run my first laps on the new track at Mid-Ohio and welcome back all our fans for the new season.”
“We’re excited to return the ENEOS brand to the track as primary sponsor of Steve Arpin’s Loenbro Motorsports car this weekend at Mid-Ohio,” said Shinichi Handa, CMO of JX Nippon Oil & Energy USA. “Over the past four years, we’ve really enjoyed our relationship with Steve, and it’s no secret that he’s one of the most popular members of our ENEOS motorsports family. We’re looking forward to getting back on track together and chasing the 2019 ARX championship!”
Arpin’s livery gets a total refresh for 2019 as the team returns to the Fiesta platform from the Ford Focus it raced in 2018. The new look boasts a complex array of swirls, stripes and lightning bolts to match the intensity and action of a rallycross event. Arpin’s signature #00 – the number he’s held since his short track racing days in his native Canada – returns to the roof with its familiar jagged center.
The ENEOS logo has adorned Arpin’s car for all three of his professional rallycross victories, and the Canadian will look to add a fourth in the familiar colors after the official four-year anniversary of their partnership. ENEOS and Arpin debuted their partnership on May 31, 2015 at a race in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and ENEOS has appeared as Arpin’s primary sponsor in markets from Washington DC to Barbados.
Don’t miss Arpin and the ENEOS-backed Loenbro Motorsports team as they run for the 2019 Americas Rallycross championship, starting at the ARX of Mid-Ohio at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on June 8-9. Tickets are on sale at www.arxrallycross.com.
